5 month old male with a 1.3 cm mass in the right inferior orbital rim, present since birth.

SB 5192 Charles Zaloudek, M.D. UCSF Medical Center (WEB CASE)

15 yr old girl with gunshot wound to the head; potential liver donor. An enlarged retrocardiac lymph node is submitted for frozen section diagnosis.

SB 5193 Hannes Vogel, M.D. Stanford Medical Center (SHS-07-09418)

7 yr old girl with enhancing , partially cystic mass (4.8 cm) of the left ventricle.

64 yr old woman with a 3 cm right parotid mass.

SB 5195 Shaku Nagpal, M.D. O’Connor Medical Center (S07-7531)

56 yr old male with left cervical lymphadenopathy and recurrent sore throats for many years. Recently, the node had enlarged following an upper respiratory infection. An additional enlarged node was found at the angle of the jaw.

75 yr old male with a slowly enlarging 2 cm mass of right temple.

SB 5197 Josh Sickel, M.D. El Camino Hospital (S07-3811)

58 yr old male with a firm 4 cm soft tissue mass of left groin/perineum. The patient is an avid cyclist and states the tumor is often painful during rides.

SB 5198 Sudha Rao, M.D. Los Gatos Community Hospital (G08-153)

73 yr old male with a firm non-tender mass of the left index finger.

 

DIAGNOSIS:

 

 

SB 5199 John Moretto, M.D. California Pacific Medical Center (CPP-08-2616)

52 yr old male with a 3 cm mass arising in the infratemporal fossa/parapharyngeal space.

 

DIAGNOSIS:

 

 

SB 5200 Joelle Lambert, M.D. Kaiser Med Center, Santa Clara (SCL02-22651)

28 yr old male with enlargement of right thigh and inflammatory changes on MRI scan.

A soft tissue biopsy was performed. At surgery, the muscle was grossly unremarkable.
