SB 5121 Ken Leipper, MD & Gloria Yu, MD Eden Hospital (07-2203)

A 57 year old woman with severe right knee degenerative arthritis and a past history of bilateral ruptured Achilles tendons.

 

DIAGNOSIS:

 

SB 5122 Sudha Rao, MD Los Gatos Community Hospital (G07-0480)

A 34 year old woman with a 2.8 x 1.5 x 1.2 cm polypoid, focally ulcerated skin colored lesion of the left lower leg.

 

DIAGNOSIS:

 

SB 5123 Greg Rumore, M.D. Kaiser Permanente, Oakland (OAKS 07-1540)

A 68 year old woman with a 4.0 x 3.5 x 1.9 cm well circumscribed, firm, tan, lobulated nodule of the left thyroid lobe.

 

DIAGNOSIS:

 

SB 5124 John Iocco, MD Washington Hospital (S07-4198)

A 17.5 cm, 385 g green-tan mass in the left liver (right liver is smooth) from a 300 lb, 43-year-old man with 2X normal Alkphos and normal AFP levels.

 

DIAGNOSIS:

 

SB 5125 John Walsh, M.D. Kaiser Permanente, Walnut Creek (07-7538)

A 29 year old woman with 7 indeterminate lesions in the liver by CT scan, the largest measuring 5.8 cm. Multiple ill-defined nodular areas, the largest weighing 44 g with a 3.5 cm nodular area were resected.

SB 5126 Tom Schmidtknecht, MD Kaiser Permanente Oakland (S02-13420)

A 44 year old woman with an 835 g partial hepatectomy, containing several pink-gray masses, the largest measuring 3 cm.

 

DIAGNOSIS:

 

SB 5127 Greg Moes, MD Kaiser Permanente, Oakland (OAKS07-12318)

The patient is a 5 year old girl with a history of seizures. Neuroimaging revealed a right temporal lobe 1.5 cm lesion with surrounding mild faint T1 hyperintensity as well as mild increased T2 hyperintensity. No enhancement was seen.

SB 5128 Greg Moes, MD Kaiser Permanente, Oakland (OAKS07-14008)

The patient is a 67 year old man who presented with a right frontal headache and seizures. He has been managed conservatively since the initial discovery of the mass in 2002. Neuroimaging revealed a 4 cm right frontal mass with heterogeneous enhancement.

A 40-year-old man with a solitary right upper thigh mass.

A 55 year old woman with a 17 cm mass replacing uterine fundus.
